FAQ

Anchor Inn Frequently Asked Questions

Are dogs allowed in the pub?
Yes, we welcome well behaved dogs in both bars.

Are you open throughout the year?
Yes, we are always here and ready to serve!

What are your opening times?
Please see the home page for both Summer and Winter opening times.

Can we book a table?
You cannot. We are simply not able to reserve any tables, inside or out, for any number of people. If it’s a sunny day, we have plenty of space outside and we will do our best to serve you food & drink as efficiently as possible. Please note that for larger groups (15+), due to the restricted size of the kitchen, we are not always able to serve your food all at the same time and we may have to send it out in smaller batches.

Are dogs allowed on the beach?
Unfortunately not – the beach is privately owned and there is a year round dog ban.

Do you offer B&B accommodation?
We do not offer Bed & Breakfast at the moment but once the refurbishment work is complete ready for Easter 2014, we will be able to offer 3 ensuite B&B rooms. In the meantime, please see links to the right of this page for good, local B&Bs, campsites and self catering cottages.

Is there ample free car parking?
Kinda. We have a small pub car park for 10ish cars which fills up pretty quickly. There is also a large car park opposite which does charge for entry. However, if you park there and then spend £20 in The Anchor Inn we will refund your parking. Please be aware that this car park is locked every night at dusk and NO OVERNIGHT PARKING IS ALLOWED.

Do you do takeaway food?
Yes we do, as long as it will fit into a fast food style polystyrene box. For example, scampi/fish/sausage & chips and sandwiches & baguettes are easily catered for.

The Anchor Inn Seatown

We are currently closed for a major refurbishment. We will be re-opening again on Friday, 16th May 2014. We look forward to seeing you then. Sorry for any inconvenience.
